LSD FREE-FORM COMPOSITION (MUSIC Composed And Played by LSD Influenced Musicians.)

LSD FREE FORM COMPOSITION (MUSIC COMPOSED AND PLAYED BY LSD INFLUENCED MUSCIANS)
LSD ETC. LABEL "UNDERGROUND 12"

wish i knew more about this record. any info anyone? it was in my bosses basement and i begged him to give it to me for years. finally got it by cleaning the gutters on his house. seriously. as for how it sounds. well, the title kind of explains it, but did the freaked out musicians also do the hand drawn covers? were they the engineers too? seems, they at least had control of the tape speed cause the whole thing is sped up. some killer guitars, piano, occasional "vocals" in the breaks. maybe a little bit neu 2-ish, just because it's sped up? label seems to be underground 12, and apparently it cost $5 when it was "released". maybe it's fake? maybe you're supposed to trip while listening to it?

  1. Ah, Mr. Hoffman, what curious places your bicycle takes us, and ain't it grand how the ride goes on and on....

This is really quite a find, isn't it? Any thoughts as to when it was made? My layman's guess is mid- to late-70s, based on sound, effects, and the $5.00 price tag for a 12" LP, though I wouldn't be surprised if I'm totally off on that. 15 minutes of Googling got me nowhere, other than finding that the building at 12457 Ventura Blvd now seems to house hairstyling salons, tuxedo shops, and the like. It also seems that the suites are no longer designated by letters.

Regardless, very cool. Could I clean your gutters sometime?
